- Easter Worship Services – St Saviour’s Kuranda. Anglican Church Of Australia St Saviour’s Kuranda is holding services across Easter. Starting with Maundy Thursday on 17 April at 6.30pm. A 9.30am service for Good Friday and 5pm Evening Prayer. Then on Easter Sunday an 8am Holy Communion, 9.30am Easter Family Eucharist and 5pm Evening Prayer.
- Easter Worship Services – St Christopher’s Catholic Church Kuranda. Is hosting Wednesday Mass at 6pm and Sunday Mass at 5pm.
- ANZAC Day Service. The Kuranda RSL Sub Branch will host a Dawn Service and the Anzac March. Dawn Service is at 5.30am at Kuranda Railway Station, this is followed by a ‘Gun Fire Breakfast’ which has become a great community event provided by our Sub Branch ladies. The Anzac March starts at 10.15am along Coondoo Street to Centenary Park. Wreath-laying Ceremony at 10.30am at Centenary Park. If there are any individuals or groups who would like to contribute light refreshments, such as cakes etc, it would be greatly appreciated and if you would like to participate in commemorative wreath-laying or wish to participate in the ceremony, please contact President, Craig 0421 588 714 or Secretary, Mike 0447 919 393.
- Construction Works on Coondoo Street, Kuranda. Kuranda’s main street, with its State heritage-listed Kuranda Fig Tree Avenue, is currently undergoing a series of works to address a number of maintenance issues which have developed since the major redevelopment of the village in 1997-98.
