Kuranda Riverboat Tours

The best thing you will do in Kuranda is take a cruise on the Kuranda Riverboat! Operating continuously since 1982, the Kuranda Riverboat has cemented its reputation for providing one of the region’s most relaxing experiences and is a wonderful opportunity to witness the glorious flora, and history of this ancient tropical rainforest environment.

Sailing five times a day, the cruises feature commentary from the skipper and run for 45-minutes. The Barron River is home to a host of wildlife including freshwater crocodiles, turtles, cassowaries water dragons and fish, together with many species of tropical birds. There may even be a cassowary sighting during your cruise. Enjoy great photographic opportunities on all cruises. Closed Christmas Day.
