Rare Earth Oils are local essential oil distillers producing organic wellness products and perfumes that harness the medicinal properties of essential oils and herbs as natural alternatives to synthetic products.

Based in the lush, tropical rainforest of the Djabugay and Buluwai People around Kuranda, and inspired by their elders to learn about medicinal plants, they’ve been wild-harvesting and making wellness products in their Kuranda laboratory since 2011. Their handcrafted products are now sent all over the world.

Rare Earth Oils is a social enterprise that supports not-for-profit activities empowering youth and promoting Aboriginal culture. The business is rooted in conscious commerce, aiming for long-term social and generational change.

Specialising in organic perfumes, natural antivirals, products for pain and inflammation, and organic skincare, Rare Earth products are a must-have for your natural medicine cabinet.

Organic Scent Experiences

At the heart of Rare Earth Oils are their Organic Scent Experiences — immersive, 1-hour workshops that take you on a sensory journey through the art of perfumery. You’ll create your own Signature Perfume to take home.
