When planning your visit to Kuranda Rainforest, it’s important to ensure your transport is organised prior. Whether you’re catching the Skyrail, Scenic Railway or public transport UP to the mountaintop, you will need a way back down and as Kuranda is a “Village in a Rainforest” and out of range for many, there is extremely limited transport options. We’re proud to be the exclusive shuttle bus provider in Kuranda, offering a convenient, budget-friendly and reliable transfer solution for all travellers needing a ride back to Cairns. Our service picks up directly from the Kuranda Visitor Information Centre and Rainforestation Nature Park, with stops at the Skyrail Smithfield Terminal, Cairns Night Markets (City centre), Yorkeys Knob Cruise Terminal and Cairns Cruise Terminal, Cairns Airport and also includes a hotel drop-off option (city only), with prices starting from $15 per person.
Please note our ‘standard’ Kuranda shuttle transfer service is provided on an 11-seater bus, which departs Kuranda Village, from the Kuranda Information Centre at 4pm, on Wednesdays through to Sundays. This service must be pre-booked and paid for by 3pm on the intended day of travel. If we have no bookings, we do not stop in at Kuranda. We also provide a private transfer service, which can be booked at a time that suits you, 7 days a week – thanks to our second vehicle. Contact us for more information regarding this.
