100% Local Produce Kuranda are very proud to be able to showcase such amazing local produce from our Far North Queensland region.
On offer they have Wondaree Macadamias grown and produced in Tolga on the Atherton Tablelands, Macadamia Nuts are Indigenous to Australia and are packed to the brim with nutrition. There are 7 flavours on offer available in 80g or 400g packs including Honey roasted, Wasabi, Dry roasted salted and also have a variety pack which makes a great gift!
Ripsaw Jerky from Yungaburra which is a town found higher up on the Tablelands, we offer Premium Beef Jerky in 3 flavours mild, warm and hot, this Jerky is sourced from Grass fed Beef in the lush pastures of the tablelands,
For something a little different is our Roo Jerky marinated and smoked, Croc jerky from salt water crocodile sustainably farmed locally. The marinades on offer for the Croc jerky are Teriyaki, Lemon and Pepper and Bush Plum. Triple packs with, Roo, Croc and Emu make great gifts for the folks back home. All marinades are locally sourced and grown with no additives.
Kuranda Cookies, these traditionally baked cookies are produced here in Kuranda, offering tempting flavours such as “Outrageous Swiss Double Choc Chips arrested in a Fitness Centre” and “Wicked Roasted Macadamia Caught with Shifty Swiss Chocolate, gluten free”. The humour injected into the names reflects the enjoyment of allowing yourself the treat, you won’t be disappointed.
Davidson Plum Jams and paste as well as delicious Marshmallows made from local rainforest fruits, the Davidson Plum is a rainforest fruit tree , only found in the local rainforest and is a great source of food for our local Cassawary .
Dried Mango and Pineapple grown and sourced from Mareeba and Zingoes… Frozen Mangos, pure frozen Mango a favourite thirst quencher. Coconut chips from Port Douglas we offer these in 8 different flavours such as Himalayan sea salt, Chocolate and Cinnamon. Locally grown Peanuts from Tolga , salt, curry and chilli. Also locally made Mango chutneys and jams, all from locally sourced ingredients.
Most of what 100% Local Produce Kuranda sell has been packaged with the traveller in mind and will be ok to take home, if you are unsure please ask us. You can find us in The Heritage Markets Right next to the Koala Gardens.
