Kuranda Village Walks
Although visitors arriving in Kuranda from the coast will have traversed the lush rainforested slopes of the Kuranda range, many are unaware that the forest is actually a central feature of the village and that a network of paths and boardwalks wind through this scenic landscape. No matter whether you arrived by road, train or Skyrail all the natural wonders of the area are easily accessed on foot from the centre of town. Walkers on a tight schedule can choose a variety of circuit track options within the village. Those with more time can walk to the Barron Falls Lookout and Wrights Lookout on the edge of the Barron Gorge where there are spectacular views of the falls and the coast.
